Chargers Injury Report: Ladd McConkey, Derwin James DNP on Wednesday

The Chargers released a large injury report on Wednesday, listing 17 players, excluding Khalil Mack, who was on his weekly veteran’s day off. Seven players did not participate, including starters Joe Alt (neck), Kayode Awosika (fibula), Donte Jackson (hamstring), Derwin James (hamstring), Ladd McConkey (foot), Trevor Penning (concussion) and Rashawn Slater (ankle). The report notes Penning had been forced into starting action for the past two weeks due to other injuries. The remaining 10 were limited participants, including fullback Scott Matlock (foot) and Branson Taylor (neck), each with 21-day practice windows activated. Others returning include Dalvin Tomlinson, Charlie Kolar and Brenen Thompson.
