Coast Guard suspends search for missing man after boat crash off Manchester-by-the-Sea that left 1 dead

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for 37-year-old Jim Wolcott of Hamilton, who went missing Saturday after a boat crash off Manchester-by-the-Sea left one man dead. Sector Boston watchstanders received a report of a vessel making slow circles south of Graves Beach with no visible people aboard before 4:30 p.m. The boat struck rocks and began spinning out of control, officials said. Two other men, ages 67 and 65, were found and taken to area hospitals; the 67-year-old has since been declared dead. The dog was recovered and returned to its family.
