Commanders Star Jayden Daniels Reportedly Issues NIL Cease And Desist To LSU

Jayden Daniels, the Washington Commanders star and former LSU quarterback, has reportedly sent a legal “cease and desist” notice to LSU over the use of his name, image and likeness (NIL). According to a statement shared by Daniels’ spokesperson with ESPN, LSU must stop any further use or commercialization of Daniels’ NIL. The dispute follows LSU sophomore cornerback DJ Pickett changing his jersey number to No. 5, the same number Daniels wore during his 2022-23 seasons at LSU. Daniels’ attorney, Adam Kenner, said any continued use after notice could be pursued legally. Pickett previously wore No. 3.
