Dead, 2 injured in Greeley crash on Monday morning
A crash in Greeley early Monday morning left one person dead and two others injured, according to the Greeley Police Department. The agency said officers responded around 5:20 a.m. on Monday to reports of a two-vehicle collision in the 5800 block of 10th Street. Investigators determined that a Honda CR-V driven by a 33-year-old woman eastbound on 10th Street collided with a Chrysler sedan driven by a 45-year-old traveling in the opposite direction. First responders extricated the women and began life-saving measures before both drivers were taken to a hospital. The CR-V driver later died from her injuries, while the Chrysler driver was released. The passenger in the CR-V, a 38-year-old man, remained hospitalized in stable condition, and investigators are still determining the cause.
