Horror as migrant 'travels 200 miles to stab London shop worker' - AOL

An 18-year-old Afghan national, Suliaman Tajzai, is on trial accused of traveling nearly 200 miles from Leeds to London to stab a shop worker to death, prosecutors said. The court heard Tajzai allegedly went after 26-year-old Farmanullah Sherzad on March 27. Witnesses reportedly described chaos as Tajzai chased Sherzad through the Peabody Estate in Westminster, before police found Sherzad with a kitchen knife in his chest. The Old Bailey was told Tajzai arrived in Britain over four years ago after crossing from France in an inflatable boat and later received temporary leave until January 2029. Tajzai denies murder and weapons charges, and the trial continues.
