Just how embarrassing was Dallas' loss to the Bucs? What went wrong and where Dallas goes from here - CBS Sports

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) suffered an unexpected 24-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-4) on “Thursday Night Football” in front of a 100,000-seat AT&T Stadium crowd. Dallas entered Week 5 as a 9.5-point home favorite against a winless team led by a backup quarterback, but instead looked sloppy across offense, defense and special teams. The defeat is described as the most baffling in the short Brian Schottenheimer era. After allowing 419 total yards, including no interceptions despite five straight games with 375-plus yards allowed, Dallas now hosts the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 18 after a 10-day layoff.
