A Sunseeker owner’s visit to the Dorset facility on the Portland coast marked a major production milestone as the hull of the Sunseeker 134 Yacht was moved from its mould. The operation used two large cranes coordinating the lift to transport the hull back into the build shed, clearing the way for the next production phase. Onlookers along the Portland coastline and at the Osprey Quay facility watched the synchronized crane maneuver, underscoring the scale of the move for spectators and industry observers alike. This movement signals a shift from hull construction to the finishing stage the company is known for. Inside the shed, teams will begin internal assembly, integrating electrical and mechanical systems, piping, and bespoke interiors tailored to the owner’s specifications. The owner’s ongoing involvement, including the selection of materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes, reflects Sunseeker’s collaborative approach to luxury yacht building. Sunseeker, based in Poole, has delivered more than 150 superyachts, including the 155 Yacht Blush for Eddie Jordan and the Predator 108 featured in Casino Royale.
