Noble Marine RS600 National Championship 2026 at Brixham Yacht Club - Day 2
Day 2 of the Noble Marine RS600 National Championship 2026 at Brixham Yacht Club brought fresh racing in Torbay with slightly less wind from the south-west, though many boats and sailors started the day dealing with repairs after Thursday’s demanding conditions. After the fleet left the harbor, George Smith led early as racing pushed toward the windward mark in choppy, spray-filled conditions. Smith won both the first and second races narrowly over Jamie Mawson and Richard Bone, while Adam Watson recorded his best result so far in fourth. Issues derailed momentum for others, including a gear failure that ended Jamie’s day in race two, and an end wipe-out for Adam. A third race capped the event with a smaller fleet due to breakages and fatigue.
