Report: Colts open to trade talks involving RB Jonathan Taylor
The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly in “active and ongoing” trade talks involving star running back Jonathan Taylor, according to ESPN. The teams believed to have inquired include the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks. The Exhibit Substack, run by NFL insider Josina Anderson, said Indianapolis is seeking a first-round draft pick and a defensive tackle as part of a potential deal. The Colts have been busy off the field, trading guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor, 27, is under a two-year, $44 million extension and has 587 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in seven games for a 2-5 record. They play the Jaguars on Sunday in Jacksonville.
