Sky Sports forced to apologise as Stefanos Tsitsipas lets tempers show at Shanghai Masters - AOL

Sky Sports had to apologise after Stefanos Tsitsipas let his frustration spill into an X-rated rant directed toward his coaching box during the Shanghai Masters. The 28-year-old Greek, ranked world No. 43, was playing No. 11 seed Taylor Fritz in a third-round match when he struggled early: after leading 1-2 in the opening set, he blew a 40-0 advantage and faced a lengthy game with break points to save. As he continued holding serve, Tsitsipas shouted “tell me something” toward his team. Commentator Naomi Cavaday said he spoke in English, possibly deliberately so the whole box could hear, and later repeated venting that included an expletive. Cavaday issued the apology for the language during broadcast.
