Smart glasses sold nationwide on Amazon recalled after consumers report facial burns

INMO AIR3 smart glasses sold nationwide on Amazon are being recalled after users reported burning sensations while wearing the device. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says INMO International Technology Limited is recalling 1,643 pairs due to “serious burn and death hazards.” The company received at least 10 reports of overheating. Consumers described a burning feeling on their faces and the left side of their ears. The glasses, commonly marketed for AI translation, AI-assisted productivity and media streaming, were sold online via Amazon.com, Inmoxr.com and Kickstarter.com from December 2025 through August 2026 for $900–$1,300.
