Solunar tables | Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette runs the same solunar guidance, using a schedule from Mrs. Richard Alden Knight’s Solunar Tables. The publication encourages readers to plan fishing trips or hunting outings during the listed solunar periods to try to be in the best conditions. It notes that the major periods start at the times shown and last for either an hour and a half or two hours. Minor periods are described as somewhat shorter. Overall, it’s a straightforward instruction for timing: match activities to the major and minor windows each day to maximize the day’s potential.
