In Portuguesa, PDVSA distributed more than 2,000 tonnes of urea on a dedicated day to guarantee winter planting inputs for farmers. The shipments were handled at the Distribution Center in Acarigua and served more than 50 producers of corn, rice, coffee and bananas as part of the 2026 Winter Cycle Planting Plan, offering fertilizer at affordable prices to reduce costs and improve yields. Company representatives stressed ongoing support for agricultural communities to strengthen production and promote food sovereignty in Venezuela, with producers also receiving technical advice for comprehensive crop management to boost development and productivity.
