This Florida airport has a new name: President Donald J. Trump International Airport says Palm Beach International Airport in South Florida officially became President Donald J. Trump International Airport on Thursday. The change was enabled by a bill passed by the Florida Legislature in February and signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in March. The airport said its website and social media switched on Thursday, including an updated logo, while it is in “transition mode” for physical signs, terminals, and digital messaging boards over the coming weeks. Airport ownership remains with Palm Beach County. The airport code used by airlines will remain “PBI” through Aug. 17, with code “DJT” taking effect on Aug. 18. In May 2026, Palm Beach County Commissioners entered into a naming rights and license agreement with DTTM Operations and President Donald Trump.
