Anna Wintour, Baz Luhrmann and Tom Ford among stars at Wimbledon day 12
Wimbledon day 12 drew high-profile fashion and film figures to the Royal Box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London. Dame Anna Wintour, wearing a blue structured floral maxi dress, attended with Romeo and Juliet director Baz Luhrmann, who appeared in a cream double-breasted suit and brown sunglasses. They were joined by fashion designer-turned-filmmaker Tom Ford and actor George MacKay, with Ford in a black suit and orange-tinted sunglasses and MacKay in a white double-breasted outfit. The group watched matches while Ford’s upcoming movie adaptation of Anne Rice’s 1982 novel Cry to Heaven is developed, written, directed and produced by Ford and featuring Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Colin Firth, Owen Cooper and singer Adele, making her acting debut. Other Friday attendees included Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter, Martin Freeman, Hugh Laurie, Damian Lewis, and Olympian Sir Christopher Dean, tied to Torvill and Dean’s 1984 Olympic ice-dancing success.
