xCruzo Brief
Audi reveals its second electric car, the E-Tron Sportback describes the automaker’s second EV debut at the 2019 LA Auto Show. The Sportback is scheduled to arrive in Europe in the first half of 2020, with a top-tier claimed range of up to 446 km (277 miles) and dual electric motors producing 265 kW (about 350 hp). A less powerful variant with a smaller battery is also announced, starting at €71,350 (around $79,000). Audi says the drivetrain and battery are shared with the E-Tron SUV introduced the year before. The interior features three screens, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.1-inch main touchscreen, and an 8.6-inch display, with Alexa built in. The higher-spec model is also expected to reach the U.S. in mid-2020.
