Bentley's First EV Has A Curved Screen That Already Looks Familiar
Bentley is preparing its first electric vehicle, the Torcal, with a curved touchscreen that visually echoes the Porsche Cayenne Electric. Teaser material also points to Bentley’s “diamond” theme, seen in Crewe models since the 1920s, including a floating diamond grille and diamond-stitched seat upholstery. Inside, Bentley has offered few specifics on infotainment, but the video highlights a curved display centered on the dashboard. The screen appears similar to Porsche’s 12.3-inch OLED Flow Display that stretches into the lower center console, though Bentley’s layout includes more physical controls and a large rotary knob. Bentley says the Torcal will be smaller than the Bentayga, with no combustion engines planned. Pricing and full details are expected at a September 23 premiere in London.
