Big, Bad Chevy Silverado ZR2 Off-Roader Has 60 Inches of Screens... For Some Reason
Chevy’s 2027 Silverado ZR2 pushes the limits of digital dashboards with a total of 60 inches of screens, continuing the truck trend of expansive infotainment. General Motors revealed the updated half-ton pickup, with the ZR2 positioned as the most off-road capable model. Every 2027 Silverado—including the Work Truck—gets a 16.3-inch center screen and a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, while the ZR2 and High Country add an 11.5-inch front-passenger display plus a heads-up display and a digital rearview camera. GM’s approach counters competitors, such as Stellantis’ Ram 1500 with passenger screens on higher trims and Ford’s F-150 Raptor without one. The ZR2 also brings Multimatic DSSV dampers, 35-inch tires, and front and rear lockers, and the Bison Edition returns for 2027 with AEV hardware.
