BMW wants to reunite KTM's only two MotoGP race winners in WSBK
xCruzo Brief
BMW is working to rebuild its WSBK line-up for 2027 by pairing riders it believes can deliver results with a factory package, according to Motorsport.com. The priority for Ducati is already defined after Iker Lecuona’s renewal and Nicolo Bulega’s confirmed MotoGP debut with VR46 next year. For BMW, the question is who rides the other M 1000 RR: Danilo Petrucci will not stay with the team, and the negotiations are reportedly advanced with South African Brad Binder’s agency, Wasserman Group. Oliveira, 31, debuted this year with BMW and scored four third-place finishes in 17 races, but is expected to remain. If it happens, Oliveira and Binder would become KTM teammates again.
