Steiner compares Hamilton to Marc Marquez: 'They are both good at that'

Guenther Steiner says Marc Marquez is closest to Lewis Hamilton in the way he handles speed and image. Speaking to Motosprint, the former Haas team principal—now CEO and team owner of MotoGP outfit Tech3—was asked which F1 driver Marquez resembles. Steiner described Marquez as “very good at going fast when needed” but also capable of managing his public presence, adding that Marquez’s uniqueness makes the comparison different from Hamilton’s style. On track, Marquez is mounting a title comeback after trailing by more than 100 points mid-season. After the Italian Grand Prix he was 102 behind Marco Bezzecchi; victories in two Sprints and three Grands Prix later leave him 18 points shy of Jorge Martin, while he continues injury recovery.
