Cadillac Ranks First In JD Power 2026 U.S. Tech Experience Index Study

Cadillac topped J.D. Power’s 2026 U.S. Tech Experience Index study among luxury brands, finishing first on a 1,000-point scale with 641 points. Genesis was second with 559, followed by BMW (524), Lincoln (522) and Mercedes-Benz (513). The ranking comes with a twist: Tesla and Rivian led their respective measures with 924 and 781 points, but J.D. Power says they aren’t “rank eligible” because they don’t meet the study’s award criteria. Even so, the firm still publishes the segment average that factors in both, resulting in a broader average of 681. The study surveyed 68,064 owners after 90 days of ownership and evaluates 40 technologies across five categories, including driver assist and connected vehicle.
