Honda’s ZR-V e:HEV mid-cycle refresh has landed in Australia for the 2026 range, positioned between the HR-V and CR-V and priced under $65,000. The hybrid e:HEV uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with an electronic continuously variable automatic transmission, pairing two electric motors and three operating modes for a total output of 135 kW and 315 Nm. It doesn’t need plugging in and runs on 91 RON fuel. Grades include Vi X ($39,900), e:HEV X ($43,400), e:HEV L ($45,900) and e:HEV LX ($51,900). The cabin features a 9-inch touchscreen and a 10.2-inch driver display, with 876 litres of boot space. Driving is described as composed and polished, though road noise stands out. Standard tech includes a three-year Honda Connect subscription.
