Can-Am Pulse 2026 Review : Is the lower price enough?

The Can-Am Pulse is positioned as a compact, city-focused electric motorcycle, and a several-ride test totaling 570 km found it to be nimble and engaging for commuting—especially in stop-and-go traffic. The rider tried it in rain, heat (30C), and day/night conditions, praising confident braking, a well-tuned traction control system, and a throttle that lets users blend acceleration and regenerative braking by twisting in either direction. Over a Level 2 charge setup, the onboard 6.6 kW charger delivered a top-up in about 50 minutes, but the lack of DC fast charging limits longer-trip practicality. The bike uses a Rotax E-Power liquid-cooled, clutchless direct-drive system (47 hp peak / 27 hp continuous) with an 8.9 kWh liquid-cooled battery shared with the Outlander Electric and Origin. It’s rated at 160 km city range (about 130 km combined WMTC) and 80 mph top speed, with a 5-year/50,000 km battery warranty.
