Cheapest GR You Can Buy: Toyota's GR Kart Fits In A Minivan

Toyota’s Gazoo Racing has put the GR Kart on sale across Japan on September 10, 2026, priced at ¥385,000 (about $2,500) including tax. Built at the Gazoo Racing Gamagori GR Kart Workshop in Aichi Prefecture, the compact go-kart is designed as an entry-level motorsports option for children and families. It uses a 215-cubic-centimeter gasoline engine, weighs 183 pounds, and targets ease of transport: it fits completely inside a Noah or Voxy minivan. With dimensions of 71.7 inches long, 45.7 inches wide, and 26.4 inches tall, plus a 41.1-inch wheelbase, one kart can accommodate drivers between 4.4 and 6.1 feet via an adjustable seat. A companion app guides basic setup, but the kart is for closed courses only.
