Community events scheduled for July 22, 2026 include several fundraising and public gatherings across the Wyoming Valley and surrounding areas. The Wyoming Valley Chapter of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America will host a public stitch-in from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 25 at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore at Arena Hub Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township. Local residents can attend a back mountain roast beef dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 22 and Aug. 26 at the Northmoreland Volunteer Fire Company. A fire company bingo is set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 27 at the same location, with no RSVP required. Dallas Lions Club’s Fourth Annual Frank G Rollman Memorial Golf Tournament is planned for Friday, Aug. 14, featuring registration at 12:30 p.m. and tee time at 1:30 p.m., with dinner and awards later at Appletree Terrace.
