Ducati and MotoGP rider Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia will part ways at the end of the 2026 season, Ducati announced after eight seasons together that included two world championships. The Valencia Grand Prix will be the last race in which Bagnaia rides the Ducati Lenovo Team’s red livery. Ducati’s release credits Bagnaia’s run with a streak that helped bring the Riders’ Title back to Borgo Panigale 15 years later, in 2022, and then a second title in 2023. It cites 31 victories, including 11 in 2024, along with 62 podiums and 28 pole positions. Bagnaia joined Ducati in 2019 as a rookie and helped develop the Desmosedici GP over the years. The statement says both sides will work to achieve the best possible results through the end of 2026. Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali praised Bagnaia’s riding style and character, and said fans will meet him at World Ducati Week from 3 to 5 July in Misano.
