Ducati's Marquez completes Aragon sweep to cut Martin's title lead

Marc Marquez capped a sweep at the Aragon Grand Prix with his third straight victory on Sunday, strengthening his hold on anti-clockwise circuits and cutting into Jorge Martin’s championship lead. Marquez overtook Aprilia pole-sitter Marco Bezzecchi in a tight battle for the lead and controlled the rest of the race to take the chequered flag. KTM’s Pedro Acosta finished second, with Bezzecchi third. After also winning Saturday’s sprint, Marquez collected maximum points to move up to 237, jumping past Bezzecchi (232) into second behind Martin (256). Alex Marquez finished fourth, Martin fifth.
