Marc Marquez clinches Aragon MotoGP victory

Marc Marquez claimed a hard-fought win at the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, his 77th victory in the premier class and the first place by 1.754 seconds. He started fourth but fought to the front after his ride-height device stayed down through the first five corners. Marco Bezzecchi took the early lead to Turn 3, yet Marquez regained it and then surged to second when championship leader Jorge Martin capitalised and moved through. Marquez and Bezzecchi battled down the back straight, with Marquez taking the lead. Pedro Acosta used slipstream to take second before Marquez set the pace and held off the field. The standings gap to Martin narrowed to 19 points; Acosta was second and Bezzecchi third, with Alex Marquez fourth and Martin fifth.
