Ford recall tells owners not to drive certain Bronco Sports, Mavericks

Ford is recalling 4,653 2022–2026 Bronco Sport and Maverick vehicles for a potentially misassembled front lower control arm-to-steering knuckle ball joint. A faulty joint could separate, causing a loss of steering control. Owners are instructed not to drive the vehicles; dealers will inspect and repair at no cost. A loaner or rental option is provided during the repair. If a misassembly is found, technicians will perform the necessary repair. Ford reports no known crashes or injuries related to this issue.
