Foyt Racing signs reigning IndyCar Rookie of the Year Dennis Hauger to multi-year deal

Foyt Racing signed IndyCar Rookie of the Year Dennis Hauger to a multi-year deal starting with the 2027 IndyCar season. The 23-year-old Norwegian will drive the team’s No. 14 Chevrolet, sponsored through partners including Homes For Our Troops. Hauger came to the U.S. in 2025 and dominated Indy NXT by Firestone, winning six races to take the rookie title before moving to IndyCar. His European résumé includes the 2019 Italian Formula 4 championship, the 2021 FIA Formula 3 title, and five FIA Formula 2 wins, plus time with the Red Bull Junior Team. Hauger’s public debut with Foyt is set for October 2 at the GM Defense Valor & Velocity Gala in Warren, Michigan.
