Foyt signs Dennis Hauger for 2027 IndyCar season

Foyt Racing announced Dennis Hauger will drive in the 2027 IndyCar season and beyond, taking over the team’s No. 14 car. The seat has been run by Santino Ferrucci for the past four seasons. Hauger competed in 2026 as a rookie with Dale Coyne Racing in the No. 19 entry, narrowly beating Mick Schumacher and Caio Collet in the overall points standings to earn IndyCar Rookie of the Year. Before IndyCar, he won IndyNXT in 2025, which provided prize money toward his move up, and also held titles in Formula 3 and raced three years in Formula 2. Hauger will start work on off-track relationships during the offseason and make his first start for Foyt in March, with further announcements expected about the second car’s driver.
