Group 1 Automotive Continues Nationwide Brand Alignment with Group 1 Acura Southwest Houston in Southwest Houston

Group 1 Automotive continued its nationwide dealership brand alignment by rebranding Sterling McCall Acura in southwest Houston to Group 1 Acura Southwest Houston, reflecting an effort to standardize the customer experience across its U.S. retail network. The dealership has operated under the new name since April 15, 2026, and the company says the rebrand did not change ownership, staffing, product offerings, or daily operations. Group 1 has owned and run the southwest Houston dealership for more than two decades, preserving what it describes as long-standing local relationships while linking the site to Group 1’s national platform. The dealership continues serving customers from its existing location at 10505 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas, offering new and pre-owned Acura vehicles and Acura service, parts, and maintenance. Group 1 Acura Southwest Houston’s general manager, Paul Christian, said customers kept the team they know while gaining Group 1 resources.
