Haudenschild and Nordstrom hustle to Huset's Shootout

Sheldon Haudenschild and Lance Nordstrom turned in winning efforts at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, hosting the opening round of the L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout presented by D & I Railroad. The weekend also included Craig Hanisch winning the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks track championship. In the $15,000-to-win World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series main event, Haudenschild worked his way past leader Garet Williamson in turns three and four on lap 12 and held the front through traffic. He won by 0.527 seconds after a race filled with early incidents and late restarts. Williamson finished second, with Michael “Buddy” Kofoid third; David Gravel was fourth and Carson Macedo fifth.
