xCruzo Brief
Toyota and Honda are trialing humanoid robots inside their factories in Japan as they prepare for what they see as the next wave of AI-driven robotics. The tests cover tasks such as wire-harness installation and final inspection, with Honda even exploring future vehicle designs intended for assembly by humanoid workers. The effort was previewed at the Japan Mobility Show, held Oct. 13–16. Separately, Europe’s EV market kept climbing: BEV registrations rose 70.3% in September, reaching 300,202 vehicles and roughly a third of car sales across 17 key markets. Fully electric accounted for a 32.6% share year-to-date, up 38.1%.
