According to GlobalData, Honda led the first half of 2026 with a 19% surge in May sales and a 30% jump in June, reaching 226,114 units year-to-date. That compares with year-to-date figures of 209,311 for the F-150 and 194,807 for the Chevy Silverado 1500. Supply-chain constraints pushed the RAV4 to fourth with 153,955 sales, and Automotive News is cited blaming aluminum issues for Ford’s constrained F-150 output since fall. Honda’s strategy also included steadier incentives, averaging about $460 more than in 2025, while CR-V inventory tightened to 15 days.
