IONNA Expands In Florida -- Brings Gas Station Reliability To EV Charging
IONNA expands in Florida, aiming to make EV charging feel as dependable as stopping at a traditional gas station. The company, operating as the official charging partner for BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Toyota, says it has deployed chargers across the U.S. over the past two years. It reports 1,100 charging bays live or under construction, including on-site units at partners such as Circle K and Wawa. In addition, it is rolling out standalone Rechargery sites with retro 1950s-inspired design and amenities like food, drinks, and restrooms, sometimes adding lounges and conference rooms. Its 400kW chargers support two vehicles at up to 200kW each, use NACS or CCS signage, and charge at a flat $0.39/kWh with no idle fees. The latest Rechargery opening is in Seffner near Tampa’s I-4 interchange.
