MotoGP Dutch GP: Raul Fernandez leads Trackhouse Aprilia 1-2 in sprint

Raul Fernandez led Trackhouse Aprilia to a sprint 1-2 at the Dutch Grand Prix, winning his second MotoGP sprint race. Fernandez overtook his teammate Ai Ogura after shooting into the lead on lap 3 of 13, then held off advances from Fabio di Giannantonio and Ogura. The victory came one week after Fernandez was weakened by appendicitis. At the start, Ogura jumped into Turn 1 first, but polesitter Jorge Martin immediately repassed him, leaving Martin’s factory Aprilia in front early. Martin later suffered major trouble and dropped down the order as the key battles unfolded between Aprilia and Ducati. Fernandez crossed the line with a six-tenths advantage for a comfortable maiden 1-2 for Trackhouse, while di Giannantonio took third. Bezzecchi finished fourth, with Martin fifth, after pressure from Francesco Bagnaia.
