Jorge Martin braced for "really difficult, painful" MotoGP weekend with broken arm
xCruzo Brief
Jorge Martin said he will push through the Malaysian MotoGP weekend despite a broken right arm that he expects will make riding “really difficult” and “really painful.” The factory Aprilia rider fractured the radius of his right arm in a crash at the Australian Grand Prix and has been working with a physiotherapist on intensive recovery. He was declared fit for FP1 on Thursday by MotoGP doctor Angel Charte, but must clear further medical tests on Friday to race at Sepang International Circuit. Arriving with a brace on his right wrist, Martin said he still cannot even brush his teeth with his right hand and will decide day by day to protect his title hopes against Marc Marquez of Ducati.
