Kia is offering big discounts on the EV9, with over $15,000 off at some dealers

Kia is pushing major incentives on the 2026 EV9 as the market adjusts after the $7,500 EV tax credit expired last September. While sales of models such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Chevy Equinox EV have fallen, Kia says the EV9 has stayed popular: nearly 10,500 units sold in the US through the first eight months of 2026, up 12% year over year. The 2026 EV9 starts at $54,900. Kia lists a nationwide $10,000 customer cash discount, but some dealers advertise more—like Shottenkirk Kia offering $16,041 off the EV9 Light Short Range to bring it close to $40,500, with other deals around $15,000 off. Financing offers include 0% APR for 60 months plus $5,000 APR Bonus Cash.
