Yakima Valley weekend picks: Leo Adams art show, car shows, home tour and brew run
The Yakima Valley weekend lineup blends art, classic cars, home tours and a run through Cowiche. Leo Adams opens his home and studio for his annual open house and art show on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with doors opening at 10 a.m. to purchase new work. Car enthusiasts can attend Ponies in the Sun, the 34th annual show, running 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Sarg Hubbard Park in Yakima; spectators are free, and registration costs $25 the day of the event. Also on Sunday in Moxee, Volksfest includes a show-and-shine from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with $15 registration per vehicle. Saturday features Volksfest events including a swap meet, poker run and Cruise the Ave. The Cowiche Brew Run, benefiting Meals on Wheels’ commercial kitchen project, runs Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
