Kia is expanding its all-electric van plans with the PV7, unveiled this week at IAA Transportation in Germany. The PV7 is the second electric van in Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) lineup after the PV5, which went on sale in 2025. It’s about 2 feet longer than the PV5 and comes in two versions: a passenger model and a cargo variant. Built on Kia’s PBV architecture (E-GMP.S) with a flat-floor layout, the PV7 is offered with 71.5kWh or 96.2kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt batteries. Kia says the Cargo Long-Range can reach 460 km (285.8 miles) on the WLTP cycle, supports 10–80% charging in under 25 minutes on a 350kW charger, and includes Android Automotive-based Pleos Connect OS with Gleo AI voice controls.
