Marc Marquez claims Misano MotoGP sprint victory

Marc Marquez led every lap from the first corner to the chequered flag, delivering a dominant MotoGP sprint victory at Misano. The Ducati rider made the key move immediately at Turn 1, overtaking polesitter Marco Bezzecchi and then keeping the advantage under a second even as the pace stayed competitive. While Marquez managed the gap, Jorge Martin began posting fastest laps from fourth after passing Fabio Di Giannantonio and Fermin Aldeguer at the start. Martin eventually got past Aldeguer for third on lap 7. Behind them, Pedro Acosta and Aldeguer battled for fifth until errors allowed Alex Marquez to move through and take fifth. Bezzecchi finished second, Martin third, di Giannantonio fourth, and Luca Marini ninth.
