MFG cuts ultra-rapid EV charging price by 25% for summer

Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has cut the price of ultra-rapid EV charging by 25% across its MFG EV Power network for the summer. The tariff drops from 79p per kWh to 59p per kWh, running from July 1 to September 30, nationwide. MFG says the 20p per kWh saving could reduce the cost of a typical charging session by up to £6. Its network includes more than 2,000 charging bays at almost 600 locations in the UK, offering 150kW, 300kW and up to 400kW chargers. MFG also states drivers can add up to 100 miles of range in around 10 minutes on its fastest chargers. The company is investing over £400 million and plans to install more than 3,000 ultra-rapid chargers.
