Motorcyclist dies following two-vehicle crash in San Jose

A motorcyclist died after a two-vehicle crash in San Jose involving a pickup truck, according to police. The collision occurred in the 1000 block of North 10th Street just before 2 p.m. on June 22, and involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling southbound and a 2001 Toyota Tundra turning left into a parking lot from northbound North 10th Street. The rider, an adult man, was taken to a local hospital with major injuries and stabilized, but detectives were notified on Wednesday that he died. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner will release the man’s identity after confirming next of kin. The death was San Jose’s 23rd traffic fatality of 2026, after 14 deaths were recorded earlier in 2025.
