The concept was partially revealed in a short video that spotlighted Stellantis’ multi-energy powertrain strategy, showing five crossovers on a bridge: DS N°7, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Cherokee, Peugeot 3008, and a fifth model bearing a Chrysler grille. Motor Trend has since confirmed the driving model in the clip matches the production Airflow revealed earlier in 2026. The video emphasizes a move away from a drought of new products toward a more varied catalog. It appears the Airflow highlights the non-electrified portion of Stellantis’ multi-energy plan, since a cutaway displays a transversely mounted four-cylinder engine with no electric assistance and no driveshaft or rear axle. Analysts expect all-wheel drive to appear on certain variants at or shortly after launch, and a hybrid option isn’t ruled out. The car, while not labeled Airflow in the clip, is widely identified as Chrysler’s forthcoming crossover, reinforcing a broader strategy to integrate internal combustion, hybrid, and possibly electric powertrains across a unified design language. The move aligns with Stellantis’ plan to broaden U.S. offerings in the next several years, addressing a previously noted product drought through a $7 billion investment to deliver 11 new U.S.-market vehicles by 2030.
