Indiana Mom's Car Gets Totaled in I-69 Hit-and-Run and the Driver Just Vanished Into Thin Air

A violent hit-and-run on Interstate 69 near Indianapolis left a 35-year-old mother with a destroyed rear and a driver who vanished. The crash occurred around 7 a.m. on a rainy Wednesday near the 220-mile marker as Whitney Bruner was en route to work. Bruner’s rear windshield was shattered, and the fleeing driver left no stop or hazard lights. Both of Bruner’s dash cameras captured the impact and aftermath, and she is circulating screenshots of the suspect vehicle to the public for help identifying the driver. Her first concern after the crash was her four-year-old son, who was not in the car at the time.
