Nottingham City Transport is overhauling West Bridgford and Rushcliffe bus services in June, with changes taking effect on 21 June 2026. The operator notes demand has not fully recovered since the pandemic, with about 1 in 10 fewer customers annually. Home and hybrid working, plus online shopping, mean fewer trips, while roadworks in recent years reduced route reliability and patronage. As a result, NCT has trimmed several routes and adjusted timetables to rebalance services with current demand. Key changes include a direct link between Ruddington and West Bridgford Centre and a Meadows/Lady Bay focus via Green 11, plus extensions to Cropwell Bishop and Cotgrave.
