Nissan is reviving the “Pixo” name as an all-electric city car aimed at becoming the brand’s most affordable EV in Europe, with pricing expected to start under €20,000 (about $23,000) before incentives. After the original was discontinued in 2013, the new Pixo EV targets the fast-growing European A-segment, where low-cost offerings from Chinese automakers have gained traction. Built with Renault, it shares underpinnings with the Renault Twingo and uses a 27.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. WLTP range is up to 259 km. Nissan says a 50 kW DC fast charger can top up from 15% to 80% in about 28 minutes. Safety and tech features include automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, e-Pedal, and Google built-in via the MyNissan app.
