Our Favorite Cars from the 2026 Paris Auto Show
The 2026 Paris Auto Show showcased European concepts aimed at reinforcing brand identity amid a backdrop of Chinese EVs and crossovers. Alfa Romeo used its Cuorerosso concept—named “Red Heart”—as a “manifesto” for future design, with the company saying it isn’t a production preview but a statement for electrification-era models. The concept is described as having multi-powertrain plans in a “multi-energy” lineup, including vehicles up to 15.5 feet long, and features four doors with front and rear hinges opening to a B-pillarless cabin. Alpine also presented the A310 VISION, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the original four-cylinder and 50 years of the A310 V6, without publishing specs. Peugeot’s E-T16 Concept, marking the 40th anniversary of the 205 T16’s World Rally double win in 1985 and 1986, includes an 816 hp three-motor electric system with torque vectoring.
