Saudi coalition strikes fuel depot near Yemen's capital
xCruzo Brief
A Saudi-led coalition said it carried out a strike on a fuel depot near Yemen’s Houthi-controlled capital, Sanaa, accusing the Houthis of using the Yemen Petroleum Company’s al-Sabaha facility to support attacks on Saudi Arabia, including missiles and drones. The coalition warned civilians to evacuate ahead of a “special operation,” and Houthi media said the site had been hit. The Houthis responded by warning of retaliation against the airport and Aramco refinery in Riyadh, as well as Aramco’s headquarters in Dammam. The escalation follows deadly attacks earlier on King Khalid International Airport and a coalition claim that it destroyed three drones north of Riyadh.
